Terry, Thanks for your answer! Do you believe there is a difference between forgiveness of sin and remission of sin?

Baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins. by: Terry
When you obey Acts 2:38, His blood is applied to your life because you are "baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins"

Terry, The Bible says "without the shedding of blood there is no remission" you say at death so can you tell me more about this verse in Hebrews? When does the blood take effect or remove my sin?

Hi Richard
Jesus shed His blood on the cross when He was crucified. That is why He is called the Lamb of God. He sacrificed Himself.
So in those studies that you read, "death" reflects the blood that you are talking about. You then apply His blood by obeying the Gospel - His death, burial, and resurrection - by obeying Acts 2:38.
You die yourself through repentance, you are buried when you are baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of your sins, you are resurrected when you receive the gift of the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in tongues.
Then you will be saved!

Thanks for responding to my question! I looked over 1. Gospel of Jesus Christ 2. Do you want to go to heaven? 3. Yes, I want to go to heaven! I've read in the Bible where it talks about the blood of Jesus and salvation. The three topics you had me read didn't say anything about this, why?
